This Privacy Policy describes how the Fluxer bot (referred to as Functious) collects, uses, stores, and deletes data. Functious operates exclusively on the Fluxer platform. This policy applies only to data handled by Functious. Fluxer itself has its own separate privacy policy.

By using Functious, you agree to the practices outlined below.

1. Data We Collect

We only collect the absolute minimum data required for Functious' features to function.

No messages, command arguments/content, emails, IP addresses, or other personal information beyond what is listed below is stored. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party trackers.

User IDs - only for giveaway entries, poll votes (with public avatar URL), and timezone settings you choose to set.
Community IDs - stored for every community Functious is in, to remember per-community settings.
Command usage statistics - which commands you use and how many times. We never store the content or arguments of any command. This data is tied to your user account, not to individual communities.
Analytic data - limited usage analytics derived from command statistics to help improve Functious.
Cookies - stored for a maximum of 7 days and then automatically deleted.
Community setting change logs - records of who changed which community settings and when, so you can see who changed what.
Temporary Voice Channels - User IDs of people in bot-created voice channels only.

2. How We Use the Data

Giveaway User IDs → to track entries and pick winners.
Poll User IDs + avatar URLs → to display accurate vote results.
Timezone User IDs → to convert times correctly between users.
Community IDs → to apply community-specific settings.
Command usage statistics & analytic data → to understand feature usage and improve Functious (never includes command content).
Cookies → for essential site/bot functionality; automatically expire after 7 days.
Community setting change logs → to provide an audit trail of who changed community settings and when.
Voice User IDs → to manage temporary voice channel lifecycle.

3. Data Retention & Automatic Deletion

Giveaway User IDs → removed the moment the giveaway ends.
Poll User IDs & avatar URLs → removed the moment the poll ends.
Temporary Voice Channel User IDs → removed the instant you leave the channel.
Community settings & setting change logs → kept only while Functious remains in the community.
Command usage statistics & analytic data → tied to your user account and retained with you even if you leave a community that used the commands. Individual command content is never stored.
Cookies → automatically deleted after 7 days.

4. Your Right to Delete Your Data

Timezone data can be removed at any time using Functious' dedicated removal command (shown in the help menu). All other data is automatically deleted on schedule - no manual action required.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored in a secure database hosted locally on the developer's home lab hardware. Nothing is stored externally - no cloud providers, no third-party communities. We use industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Functious is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use Functious. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.

7. No Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with anyone. Functious does not send data to external services except for what Fluxer's own API requires to operate.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect any changes, and major updates will be announced in Functious' official support community.
